Binoculars with apertures up to 100 mm offer excellent optical performance, but their considerable weight limits hand-held use. This support removes vibration and fatigue, making every observation smooth and enjoyable.

Made of anodised aluminium and steel, it combines lightness and sturdiness, with a load capacity of up to 7 kg. The parallelogram design keeps the subject framed even when the height changes, an essential feature for sessions with several observers or with children.

Smooth movements and versatility

The L-shaped head allows 360° horizontal and 180° vertical rotation, with precise movements even when seated. The main arm has a 90° travel, while the whole structure rotates 360° on the tripod's horizontal axis. The standard 3/8″ fitting and the dual 1/4″ and 3/8″ binocular mount ensure compatibility with most binoculars on the market.

Balance and accessories

The mount includes a balancing slide with safety lock and a counterweight bar with a 20 mm diameter, compatible with most mount weights. The removable L-shaped head allows Vixen or Losmandy clamps to be fitted, making the structure suitable for small telescopes or photographic instruments as well.

Technical specifications

Mount type

Parallelogram for binoculars

Materials

Anodised aluminium and steel

Maximum load

7 kg

Binocular compatibility

Up to 100 mm aperture

L-head movement

360° horizontal, 180° vertical

Arm travel

90°

Mount rotation

360°

Tripod connection

3/8″ thread

Binocular connection

Dual 1/4″ and 3/8″

Balancing slide

Included, with safety lock

Counterweight bar

20 mm diameter

Counterweight compatibility

Universal 20 mm (not included)

Removable L-head

Yes, for Vixen or Losmandy fitting

Total weight

5.4 kg

Recommended use

Astronomical and nature watching

Note

Tripod, counterweight and binoculars not included.

The Artesky Parallelogram Mount V2 is the ideal tool for amateur astronomers and nature lovers who want comfortable, stable, vibration-free observing.
