Acuter Phoenix 40mm: Professional H-Alpha Solar Telescope for Observation and Astrophotography

The Acuter Phoenix 40mm is an H-Alpha solar telescope specifically designed for high-precision solar observation and photography in the narrowband spectrum. This instrument allows you to explore extraordinary solar phenomena such as prominences, active spots, flares, granulation, and plasma filaments with exceptional clarity and resolution.

Narrowband H-Alpha Solar Observation

Thanks to its H-Alpha filter with a bandwidth of less than 0.6Å, the telescope enables detailed observations of the solar chromosphere. The specific wavelength of 656.3 nm, corresponding to the red line in the Balmer series of the hydrogen spectrum, provides a unique window into solar phenomena such as prominences, filaments, and flares. Unlike white-light telescopes that capture the entire solar spectrum, the Acuter Phoenix focuses solely on the dynamic activities of the chromosphere, the layer just above the photosphere.

Compact and Portable Design

Built with a durable metal optical tube, the Phoenix 40mm is designed for portability without compromising on quality. Its compact design ensures durability and ease of transport.

Optimized for Astrophotography

The Acuter Phoenix 40mm is perfect for solar photography enthusiasts. The high-quality Crayford focuser ensures smooth and precise focusing. A smartphone adapter allows you to easily capture and share your observations.

For automated tracking, it is recommended to pair the telescope with the Sky-Watcher SUNGT mount, which automatically centers and follows the Sun to enhance both observation and imaging.

Certified Eye Safety for Solar Observation

The telescope complies with ISO 12312-2:2015 standards, ensuring maximum protection for your eyes during direct solar observation.
