127mm Maksutov optics with fast focal ratio
The Acuter Fast 127 WiFi belongs to the Fast Mak series, a line of complete telescopes designed to deliver superior optical performance thanks to a faster focal ratio compared to classic Maksutov Cassegrain optical tubes. With an aperture of 127mm and a focal length of 1350mm (f/10.5), this telescope delivers sharp, high-contrast images of planets, the Moon, and the brightest deep sky objects such as open clusters, nebulae, and bright galaxies. The standard Vixen CG5 dovetail bar ensures maximum compatibility with third-party accessories and mounts.
Go-To WiFi Voyager Traverse PRO mount
The technological heart of the system is the computerized altazimuth Acuter Voyager Traverse PRO mount, equipped with integrated WiFi connectivity for complete wireless control via smartphone or tablet, with no need for external networks. Compatible with the free Acuter Sky app for iOS (12.0+) and Android (6.0+), the mount automatically slews to over 11,000 celestial objects in the integrated database. DC Servo motors on both ALT+AZ axes deliver a resolution of 0.676 arcseconds with excellent vibration damping. The gear-and-worm drive transmission ensures smooth and precise movements.
Portability and versatility for mobile astronomy
Designed for observers who love dark skies away from light pollution, the Acuter Fast 127 WiFi is a compact, lightweight and immediately operational system. The three-section extendable aluminium tripod with integrated accessory tray makes transport and field setup straightforward. A payload capacity of 5 kg ensures stability even with additional accessories. Power is supplied via DC 12V 1A, compatible with external power banks (not included) or mains adapters. The system can also be used for daytime terrestrial observations via the Acuter Sky app.
