The Antlia LRGB Filter Kit 50mm is a complete set of four filters – Luminance (L), Red (R), Green (G) and Blue (B) – in unmounted 50mm format, designed for deep-sky astrophotography with large-format monochrome CCD and CMOS cameras. Each filter is made on a monolithic, non-glued optical glass substrate with double-sided multi-layer nano-coating and hand-blackened edges to eliminate stray light.
The kit's spectral separation is optimized for a near 1:1:1 RGB ratio – with a difference within 10% – allowing balanced exposures across the three channels without complex post-processing compensation. OIII emissions overlap the green and blue filters for natural colors and high rendering on nebulae. The gap between green and red blocks the main sodium light-pollution line at 589nm, improving color separation.
Compatible with large-format KAF/KAI, Sony IMX and G-Sense sensors, with transmission above 95% and focal ratios down to f/2.0. The increased 3mm thickness ensures flatness over larger surfaces, ideal for large-format filter wheels.
Key Features
- Transmission >95% guaranteed on all four channels
- RGB balance 1:1:1 (difference <10%) for equivalent exposures
- Sodium blocking at 589nm between G and R channels for optimal color separation
- Monolithic, non-glued substrate, increased 3mm thickness
- Hand-blackened edges – stray light and halos minimized
- Compatible with fast telescopes down to f/2.0
