Tripods of astronomical mounts are designed for high loads. They are usually superior to a conventional photo tripod. So what could be more obvious than to make these tripods usable for the photo equipment as well? This adapter equips your tripod with a 3/8" photo thread. You can mount your ball head, tilt head or the photo swivel mount directly on the tripod.
