Artesky presents its new 80mm APO ED refractor, designed to offer exceptional performance in astrophotography and observation. Equipped with a doublet objective with two high-quality elements, one in FCD1-B Ohara (Japan) and the other in Lanthanum glass , this telescope guarantees images free of chromatic aberrations and high contrast.
Thanks to the possibility of reduction with a factor of 0.8x , you can transform the focal length to 450 mm (f/5.6) or use it at the full focal length of 560 mm (f/7.0) with the 1x variable field flattener.
Top Color Correction with APO Technology
The refractor combines advanced optical glass to completely eliminate chromatic aberrations, surpassing the performance of many traditional doublets. The combination of FCD1-B and Lanthanum allows for exceptional sharpness and color fidelity, ideal for astrophotography and visual observations.
Main Features
- Opening: 80mm
- Focal length: 560mm (reducible to 450mm with the 0.8x reducer)
- Focal ratio: f/7.0 (f/5.6 with reducer)
- Doublet lens: 2 elements (FCD1-B Ohara + Lanthanum)
- Internal construction: Deflectors to eliminate reflections and increase contrast
- Focuser: 2.5" rack and pinion, dual speed, load capacity up to 4kg
- Compatibility: M63x1.2" and 1.25" threaded connections
- Portable Design: Retractable lens hood and CNC aluminum tube for added strength
- Accessories Included: CNC Aluminum Rings and Vixen Style Dovetail Bar
- Quality Control: Each unit is visually and mechanically tested before shipping
Dual Focal: Flexibility for Astrophotography
With the dedicated 0.8x reducer (sold separately), you can reduce the focal length to 450mm and achieve a focal ratio of f/5.6 , perfect for capturing wide star fields. Alternatively, the 1x variable field flattener allows you to use the full focal length for even greater versatility.
