ARTESKY FLAT BOX - Technology MADE IN ITALY
- The Artesky Flat Box uses EDGE-LIT technology, so called because the LED groups are arranged along the sides of the panel, perpendicular to each other rather than in a circle.
- This makes the Flat Box compact yet very sturdy: the outer surface is scratch- and dirt-resistant, and it can be used even in the harshest conditions.
- The Flat Box was designed to eliminate the defects that usually affect classic electroluminescent or circular LED panels
- Light guides illuminate the remaining areas, ensuring perfect uniformity with no shadows or light fall-off at the edges.
- The Flat Box mechanics are very solid and its core is entirely metal, to prevent any flexing of the surface.
- On the back there are a digital voltmeter showing relative intensity and ON/OFF status, and a USB port for connecting to your computer.
Remote use - USB interface
- The Artesky FLAT BOX USB can be used with the dedicated software; all commands are carried out through the USB interface below.
- You can switch your FLAT BOX on and off from your PC, ideal if you have a remote telescope or simply for extra convenience in the field.
- Brightness values are more precise than on the standard FLAT BOX, ranging from 0 to 255, and can be customised for each imaging channel: LRGB-HA-OIII-SII
- For each imaging channel you can also set the exposure time in seconds.

Important note when using an external power supply
To avoid any flickering problems, we strongly recommend using a stabilised linear external power supply.
Most stabilised power supplies on the market are low-quality switching types and cause current leakage that can even damage the FLAT BOX.
