Specifically designed for the Artesky APO102EDF7, this universal field flattener delivers exceptional optical correction across the entire image circle, even with large-format sensors. Its mechanical and optical precision makes it the ideal choice for high-resolution deep sky astrophotography.
It is also compatible with other apochromatic refractors up to a focal ratio of F/7.5, simply by adjusting the backfocus distance to maintain optimal field flatness. For the 102mm F/7.0 model, the correct backfocus from the T2 thread is 55 mm, allowing direct connection with many astrophotography cameras and accessories.
The front threaded connection accepts standard 2-inch filters, offering greater flexibility for light pollution control or spectral filtering without needing a filter wheel.
With its reliability, wide compatibility, and outstanding image quality, this flattener is an essential tool for advanced astrophotographers using premium refractors.
