The Askar 0.75x reducer for the 60F is engineered to significantly improve astrophotography performance. Featuring an advanced triplet optical design, it reduces the telescope’s focal length to 311 mm and lowers the focal ratio from f/6.8 to f/5.1.
Wider Field of View and Faster Exposure Times
This reduction provides a wider imaging field and enables shorter exposure times, making it ideal for extended nebulae, open clusters, and faint or fast-moving objects. The integrated field correction ensures sharp stars across the entire frame, fully supporting full-frame sensors (44 mm).
Optimized Backfocus and Standard Thread Interfaces
The reducer offers a standard 55 mm backfocus measured from the M48 male thread. Both ends feature durable M50x1 threads. The 60F extension tube includes M54x0.75 and M48x0.75 adapters for a secure and direct connection to the reducer.
An integrated M48x0.75 filter thread allows easy installation of 2" filters without additional accessories.
High-Precision CNC Construction
The reducer is fully machined from CNC aluminum and includes threaded metal caps on both ends to protect the optics from dust and impacts during storage or transportation.
