The Askar 160APO is a professional apochromatic refractor designed for advanced astrophotography and high-quality visual observation. With a large 160 mm aperture and a 1120 mm focal length, this instrument delivers excellent light-gathering capability, bright images, fine detail and strong contrast.
High-precision optical performance
The optical design features an air-spaced triplet APO with a low-dispersion ED element, effectively reducing chromatic aberration and ensuring accurate colour reproduction and sharp star images even at high magnifications. The result is uniform image quality across the entire field of view.
Compact and robust mechanical design
Despite its professional specifications, the optical tube remains compact, measuring only 883 mm in length with the dew shield retracted.
