The Askar FRA600 108mm f/5.6 is the flagship model of the FRA series, engineered for astrophotographers who demand exceptional image sharpness and minimal aberrations. Its optical system is a modified Petzval quintuplet, featuring a front triplet with two ED glass elements and a rear doublet corrector, delivering outstanding chromatic and geometric correction.
The 66 mm fully corrected image circle ensures pinpoint stars across large-format sensors, while the 80 mm rear doublet provides excellent illumination and minimal vignetting.
Precision Mechanics and Professional Stability
The premium optics are paired with a robust mechanical structure designed to support high-end imaging setups. The FRA600 features a 4.2" Rack & Pinion focuser with 1:10 fine adjustment, offering smooth and stable focusing even with heavy cameras and accessories. The retractable dew shield reduces the total length to 493 mm for easier transport and storage.
