The Auriga Premium Flat Field 5.5 mm eyepiece is part of the PF series, designed to provide a flat, well-corrected apparent field with bright, high-contrast images across a wide range of telescopes. Featuring a 60° apparent field and a 6-element optical design, this eyepiece delivers excellent performance at high magnifications.
Its advanced optical scheme ensures sharp, well-defined images all the way to the edge of the field, without reflections or unwanted artifacts. The FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) anti-reflection treatment enhances light transmission, contrast and definition, making it ideal for detailed lunar, solar (with proper filtration) and deep-sky observations.
The 31.8 mm (1.25") barrel, CNC-machined from aluminum, provides high mechanical precision and durability. A rubberized grip ensures secure handling even when wearing gloves. The 5.5 mm model offers an eye relief of 7 mm, suitable for high-power viewing.
