The new Baader Hyperion eyepieces set new standards in optical quality and versatility. The 17mm model offers a 68° apparent field of view, which matches the maximum angle the human eye can perceive without moving the pupil.
With 8 lenses in 5 groups, it delivers sharp, distortion-free images across the entire field and excellent color fidelity, even at the edges.
Dual-purpose design: Use the eyepiece with the 2" adapter for a wide-field, low-magnification view, or insert the 1.25" negative element to achieve the specified focal length and standard magnification. Perfect flexibility for all observing scenarios.
