The Baader 2" Dielectric Diagonal with ClickLock is a major upgrade from the well-known Maxbright model. Thanks to Baader’s high-efficiency dielectric coatings, the mirror achieves 99% reflectivity and offers 1/10 λ optical surface accuracy across the entire mirror face – perfect for high-contrast, high-magnification visual observing.
Its multilayer dielectric coating is engineered for durability, ensuring years of consistent performance without loss of reflectivity or color shift. An ideal choice for Moon, planetary, and deep-sky observation where optical clarity and brightness are critical.
ClickLock Clamping – Fast and Secure
The built-in Baader 2" ClickLock eyepiece holder lets you securely lock any accessory with a simple 20° twist of the locking ring. The grip is uniform and firm, with no need for thumb screws – ensuring stability, ease of use, and precision, even in the dark or while wearing gloves.
Maximum Flexibility
- The 2" nosepiece includes an internal thread for standard 2" filters (50.8 mm).
- The nosepiece is removable, revealing a standard 2" thread for direct connection to various adapters (photography setups, binoviewers, etc.).
