The Baader Hyperion eyepiece series sets a new standard in optical quality and versatility. The 8mm version offers a wide 68° apparent field of view, perfectly matched to the human eye's physiological limit without eye movement.
Its optical design features 8 lenses in 5 groups, providing outstanding sharpness across the entire field and exceptional color fidelity even at the edges. All optics are fully multicoated for maximum contrast and light transmission.
Thanks to the dual 1.25" / 2" barrel design, you get two focal lengths in one eyepiece: used without the 1.25" negative element, it acts as a low-power 2" wide-field eyepiece; with the element, it functions as a standard 8mm eyepiece for high magnification.
