Vai al moduloThe Baader Clear Filter is a clear glass (with no coloured optical coating) used for focusing when using very narrow band filters, which make the image too dim for easy focusing.
Narrowband filters, especially very narrow ones, drastically reduce image brightness, making precise focusing difficult. The Baader Clear Filter, having the same mechanical thickness as Baader's coloured and narrowband filters, allows comfortable focusing with a bright image; once focus is achieved, the filter can be removed and replaced with the desired imaging filter without needing to refocus (parfocality).
It can also simply be used as a dust protection cap for the optical train or eyepiece holder when not imaging.
Available in 8 formats to fit any configuration: 1¼" (31.8mm), 2" (50.8mm), 31mm, 36mm, 50.4mm, 50×50mm, 65×65mm, and the unmounted FCCT 2" version (Ø47.4mm) for 3D-printed filter holders.
