Vai al moduloThe Baader Contrast Booster is an advanced optical filter made of neodymium-doped glass, designed to eliminate chromatic aberration in achromatic refractors and dramatically improve image contrast and sharpness. With over 95% transmission, it delivers brighter images than classic green Moon filters, with more natural colour rendering.
It completely eliminates the false colours typical of budget achromatic refractors, removes blue chromatic aberration, enhances detail on Jupiter and Mars (including the Great Red Spot), and darkens atmospheric skyglow for a darker sky background. No loss of quality even beyond 200x magnification.
