The Baader M43 / T-2 adapter enables the direct connection of Baader Hyperion and Morpheus eyepieces to the Astro T-2 system (M42 x 0.75). It is specifically designed for classic eyepiece projection astrophotography, allowing secure attachment of DSLR cameras via T-rings.
Precision Interface for Eyepiece Projection
Featuring an M43 thread on the eyepiece side and a T-2 thread (M42 x 0.75) on the camera side, this adapter provides a stable and compact mechanical interface. Its compatibility with the modular Astro T-2 system ensures flexible configuration for various imaging setups.
Expandable with T-2 Extension Tubes
For increased image scale, T-2 extension tubes (M42 x 0.75) can be added in lengths of 7.5 mm, 15 mm, 40 mm, or in the adjustable 8–14 mm version. This allows precise control of projection distance depending on sensor size and desired magnification.
Compact Design and System Compatibility
Manufactured by Baader Planetarium, the adapter features an optical length of just 1.5 mm, ensuring a solid mechanical connection without significantly altering back focus. Compatible with Astro T-2, Baader Planetarium, and Zeiss systems.
