The Celestron T-Adapter with 48mm thread screws directly onto the rear cell of EdgeHD 9.25", 11" and 14" optical tubes, offering a wider light path than the standard 42mm version. This reduces vignetting and evenly illuminates the entire sensor of full-frame cameras.
Specifications
- Camera thread: T2 48mm (M48x0.75)
- Compatibility: EdgeHD 9.25", 11" and 14" optical tubes
- Material: aluminium
When to choose it
Recommended for full-frame DSLR or astronomical cameras; for APS-C or smaller sensors the standard 42mm version (CE93646) is sufficient. Requires a 48mm T-Ring matching your camera (sold separately, not offered under the Celestron brand).
