Vai al moduloThe Astromaster 114EQ is a short-tube Newtonian reflector with 114mm aperture, mounted on an equatorial CG-3 mount and a sturdy steel tripod. The equatorial mount makes it easy to track celestial objects using just the fine right-ascension knob, handy even at high magnifications.
What you'll see
The 114mm aperture clearly shows hundreds of lunar craters, the phases of Venus, light-and-dark contrasts on the surface of Mars, Jupiter's moons and cloud bands, and Saturn's rings. It also lets you split the components of many double stars and, on clearer nights, observe star clusters and nebulae.
Designed to grow with you
The CG-3 mount can be motorized in right ascension (motor sold separately) — a useful option for anyone who later wants to move on to longer observing sessions without manually adjusting the tracking.
