Vai al moduloThe Astromaster 130EQ is the largest Newtonian in the entry-level Astromaster series: 130mm aperture mounted on an equatorial CG-3 mount and a sturdy steel tripod, for anyone who wants a few more photons than the smaller models without tackling a complex mount right away.
What you'll see
The 130mm aperture lets you observe hundreds of lunar craters, the phases of Venus, light-and-dark contrasts on the surface of Mars, Jupiter's moons and cloud bands, and Saturn's rings. It also lets you split the components of many double stars and observe several star clusters and nebulae.
Fast focal ratio
With an f/5, the optical tube gathers more light for the same exposure time compared to "slower" instruments, making it handy for anyone wanting to start experimenting with early images of the Moon and planets.
