The Celestron AstroMaster 70AZ is a versatile refractor telescope suitable for both terrestrial and astronomical observations. The sturdy fluid head with quick-point tracking and friction-controlled movements makes it easy to follow any subject, while the solid steel tripod with accessory tray ensures stability even at high magnifications.
With an aperture of 70 mm and a focal length of 900 mm (f/12.8), it delivers sharp, high-contrast images: lunar craters, the phases of Venus, surface details on Mars, Jupiter’s moons and bands, and Saturn’s rings. On the clearest nights it can resolve numerous double stars and reveal the brightest star clusters and nebulae. The 90° erecting prism diagonal and the red-dot StarPointer complete a package designed to be operational from the very first evening.
