The Astromaster 70EQ is a tool suitable for astronomical observations. The sturdy steel tripod and the equatorial head make it possible to observe the details of the moon and brighter planets, to appreciate the beauty of many double stars of the brightest objects in the deep sky and to pursue them manually using the convenient right ascension knob.

Achromatic refractor instrument mounted on a very strong equatorial head on a solid steel tripod. It is suitable for both astronomical observations.

The 70mm diameter also allows you to observe the lunar craters, the phases of Venus, the chiaroscuro on the surfaces of Mars, the satellites of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, to separate the components of many double stars and, on the best nights, to observe the brightest of star clusters and nebulae.
