The Celestron Smart DewHeater 4X controller with integrated power supply extends battery life by optimising power usage for up to four thermistors or dew heater rings at once. The controller gathers and analyses information in real time to warm your optics just enough to prevent dew formation, while also managing power for your entire setup.
Equipped with four ports to control up to four dew-prevention systems simultaneously (for example, a main optical tube, a guide scope, an eyepiece, and a camera), plus additional 12V DC output ports to power other devices such as your mount. Works with Celestron dew heater rings that have a built-in thermistor; third-party bands are also compatible (with a Celestron thermistor sold separately).
Can be used standalone or through the NexStar+/StarSense hand control or Celestron CPWI control software. Rugged metal housing with a built-in cooling fan to protect the electronics.
