Quality optics with 6 selectable magnifications
The Celestron Labs CM800 is a monocular biological microscope with performance comparable to higher-class instruments. The three-position objective turret holds three achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40x) combinable with the two wide-field eyepieces WF10x and WF20x, offering a total of 6 selectable magnifications from 40x to 800x. The 45°-angled monocular head ensures an ergonomic posture during extended observation sessions.
Dual LED illumination — transmitted and incident
A key feature of the CM800 is its dual LED illumination — both transmitted (from below the slide) and incident (from above) — allowing observation of both transparent specimens and opaque objects such as leaves, insects, minerals and tissues. The 6-position iris diaphragm enables precise light control to optimize image contrast. Power can be supplied via mains AC or battery for maximum flexibility.
Robust construction and complete accessories
The metal body guarantees stability and long-term durability. The stage features specimen clamps and height adjustment via coarse focus. The package includes 10 prepared slides ready for immediate observation, making the CM800 a complete kit to start exploring the microscopic world right away.
