The Celestron nebula filter for Origin is a narrowband Hα-Hβ-OIII filter, specifically designed for the Origin's RASA 6" f/2.2 optics. It blocks light pollution and increases contrast on emission nebulae, even from urban and suburban skies.

- Transmitted bands: Hα 656nm, Hβ 486nm, OIII 496/501nm
- Glass: Schott B270, 2 mm thickness, 24mm aperture
- Coating: multi-layer dichroic and anti-reflective
- Cell: black anodized aluminum, 6 mm thick, knurled edge
- Thread: M28.5 x 0.6, standard 1.25"
- Compatibility: drops directly into the Celestron Origin's filter drawer, no adapter required
Use
Ideal for imaging emission nebulae such as the North America, Lagoon, Orion and Carina nebulae. Not suitable for broadband objects such as galaxies and star clusters. Each filter is individually tested and shipped with its own spectral transmission chart.
