Vai al modulo6" (150mm) f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain with StarBright XLT coatings on the computerized single-arm fork GoTo altazimuth mount NexStar SE — the world's best-selling telescope in its class, portable and immediately ready to use
The legendary C6: compact, bright, indestructible
The Celestron NexStar 6SE combines Schmidt-Cassegrain optics at 150mm f/10 — focal length of 1500mm in a tube just 406mm long — with an extremely reliable and portable computerized GoTo mount. The StarBright XLT coatings maximize light transmission throughout the entire optical path with multi-layer anti-reflection coatings on the lenses and high-reflectivity coatings on all mirrors. Light-gathering power is 459 times that of the human eye: Cassini's Division in Saturn's rings, Jupiter's cloud bands, close double stars, globular cluster cores — all within reach in any sky. The Fastar function allows removing the secondary mirror and mounting an imaging camera at prime focus at f/2 for fast wide-field astrophotography.
SE single-arm fork mount: assembly in one minute
The NexStar SE single-arm fork altazimuth mount is designed for maximum field convenience: the optical tube tool-lessly detaches and reattaches with a single move, and the universal dovetail platform is compatible with other Celestron and third-party optical tubes. The system aligns with the SkyAlign procedure in minutes — simply point at any three bright objects without even knowing what they are, and the hand controller automatically calculates the orientation. The SkyTour feature automatically suggests the best visible objects for the evening based on date, time and location. Power can come from batteries (8 AA cells in the internal compartment) or externally via a power adapter.
NexStar+ hand controller: 40,000 objects and internet-updatable
The NexStar+ hand controller with USB port manages a database of 40,000 celestial objects with 9 slewing speeds from 4°/sec to 2× for fine guiding. Firmware is updatable via the internet directly from the Celestron website. The included NexRemote software enables PC control of the telescope. The control module also manages backlash compensation for more precise tracking during imaging sessions.
