The Celestron NexStar 8SE is a 203mm f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope featuring a computerized alt-azimuth single-arm NexStar SE mount. It combines the tradition of Celestron's excellent XLT-coated optics with modern GO-TO technology for high performance, portability, and ease of use.
Thanks to the SkyAlign™ alignment system, setup is quick and intuitive: simply aim at three bright stars and the telescope will automatically determine its position. The built-in database of over 40,000 celestial objects allows you to observe the Moon, planets, nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies—even without prior knowledge of the night sky.
