The Celestron Omni 9mm is a 4-element Plössl eyepiece, suited to medium-high magnification observation of the Moon and planets. With a 50° apparent field of view, it delivers sharp, high-contrast images at an affordable price.
The two-step anodised aluminium body provides a matte finish that resists reflections and glare, while blackened lens edges reduce internal reflections and boost contrast. The multi-layer coating on all optical surfaces maximises light transmission. The rubber eyecup can be left up or folded down for spectacle wearers. The filter-threaded 31.8mm barrel allows direct mounting of standard astronomy filters.
