With a 70mm aperture and an equatorial mount with fine-adjustment movements on both axes, it offers a solid starting point without giving up a minimum of precision when tracking celestial objects.
What you'll see
With a light-gathering power of about 100 times the human eye, the 70EQ shows lunar craters clearly, the phases of Venus, Jupiter's equatorial belts along with its moons, and Saturn's rings; on darker nights, also early star clusters and some nebulae.
No-tool assembly
Like the whole Powerseeker line, it requires no tools to assemble: the aluminum tripod arrives pre-assembled and is ready in just a few minutes, an aspect specifically designed for those who have never handled a telescope before.
