The Celestron PowerSeeker 80AZS is the most compact model in the PowerSeeker range, designed for those taking their first steps in astronomy. Despite its small size, the 80 mm aperture delivers bright, high-contrast images — perfect for terrestrial landscape observations and wide-field searches for the brightest stellar objects. With a light-gathering power 133 times greater than the human eye, it can reveal lunar craters, the main features of the planets and the most striking double stars.
The altazimuth mount with slow-motion altitude control and the pre-assembled aluminium tripod make it ready to use in just a few minutes. The included erecting diagonal also makes it suitable for daytime terrestrial observations, making it a versatile instrument for the whole family.
