Vai al moduloCelestron StarSense Explorer 127 LT Newtonian Telescope
The Celestron StarSense Explorer 127 LT is a Newtonian reflector telescope designed to make observing the night sky easier and more intuitive. It combines classic Newtonian optics with an innovative smartphone-assisted pointing system.
The new Celestron StarSense Explorer series introduces a completely new way of practicing amateur astronomy. It represents a significant evolution within the Celestron product range, expanding beyond traditional manual alt-azimuth telescopes and computerized NexStar+ systems.
StarSense Explorer technology: simplified object location
Forget complex star charts, inaccurate planetarium apps, and expensive computerized mounts. With Celestron StarSense Explorer telescopes, locating celestial objects is fast and straightforward. Simply place your smartphone into the dedicated mount holder and launch the StarSense Explorer app.
After a short alignment procedure between the smartphone and the telescope optics, which takes only a few minutes, the app provides access to a wide selection of visible celestial objects. Once an object is selected, the app guides you step by step by indicating how to manually move the telescope until the target—Moon, planet, galaxy, or nebula—is centered.
Unlike conventional astronomical apps, the patented StarSense Explorer system automatically recognizes the telescope’s exact position in the sky by analyzing the brightest stars visible in the smartphone’s field of view.
How does object pointing work?
Select the object you wish to observe from the list of visible targets displayed in the StarSense Explorer app.

The app will indicate the direction in which you should begin moving the telescope manually.

Move the telescope by following the on-screen instructions.

Once the object is centered, you can begin observing.

Effective observing even under urban skies
The Celestron StarSense Explorer 127 LT is compatible with most smartphones currently on the market and uses the phone’s GPS for positioning. Thanks to its generous 127 mm aperture, it allows observation of many of the most impressive celestial objects even from light-polluted urban environments.
In addition to the Moon and planets, observers can enjoy views of deep-sky objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy, the Orion Nebula, and numerous star clusters visible from Earth.
Complete package ready for use
The telescope package includes the optical tube, a manual alt-azimuth mount with smartphone holder, an adjustable tripod with accessory tray, two eyepieces, a red-dot finder, and a Barlow lens.
