The Celestron LCD Tetraview digital microscope is a professional and versatile instrument featuring a 4.3" color touch-screen LCD display. The name Tetraview comes from the fact that the microscope has four objectives with achromatic lenses on a rotating mechanical turret.
The 4.3" TFT color touch screen rotates up to 180° and lets you share the observation with others; the screen displays sharp, high-contrast images, and the built-in digital camera with 5MP CMOS sensor lets you capture high-resolution images and videos, which can be stored on the included 2GB SD card.
With magnifications from 40x to 400x (1600x with digital zoom), the Tetraview microscope is ideal for detailed high-resolution viewing of samples in labs, schools, scientific research and more.
Warning: the USB interface is only for downloading images stored on the microscope to a PC — it does not allow live viewing on the computer. For live viewing, the microscope must instead be connected to a monitor or TV with a Video AV input.
