The DiProgress Hooke LCD5 digital microscope opens up the world of the invisibly small with a professional-grade visual experience. Featuring a 5-inch IPS LCD screen, a 12 MP camera and a maximum optical magnification of 300x (1200x digital), it allows live observation of extraordinary details in plants, insects, cells, materials, electronic components and much more. The integrated polariser eliminates reflections for sharp, professional images, while the HDMI output allows observations to be projected onto a TV or interactive whiteboard. The built-in lithium battery provides over 3 hours of use for fully portable operation.
Magnification guide
- Low magnification (10x–100x): ideal for coins, jewellery, circuit boards. Adjust the objective height away from the base and focus by turning the ring to the left.
- Medium magnification (100x–200x): for intermediate surface details. Move the objective slightly closer to the base and focus by turning to the right.
- High magnification (200x–300x): for fine details. Bring the objective to its minimum height and focus by turning the ring to its rightmost position.
