The Fujinon Hyper-Clarity HC 10x42 is a high-end roof-prism binocular for birdwatching, astronomy and demanding outdoor use. The 42 mm objective with ED lanthanum glass effectively reduces chromatic and spherical aberrations, delivering sharp, high-contrast, colour-accurate images across the full field of view. The 10x magnification is equivalent to a 400mm telephoto lens on an APS-C sensor, making it ideal for long-range observation.
The optical design features 9 elements in 7 groups. All light-transmitting surfaces are treated with the exclusive Super EBC FUJINON multi-layer coating. BAK4 roof prisms incorporate dielectric multilayer coating and phase correction coating.
Premium ergonomics and high-end design
Alumite-finished aluminium eyecups with fine knurling allow comfortable focus adjustment even with gloves. The 16 mm eye relief ensures comfortable use with eyeglasses. Slip-resistant elastomeric exterior material. Magnesium alloy chassis. Made in Japan.
Waterproofing, fogproofing and filter compatibility
Fully O-ring-sealed, nitrogen-filled body — waterproof to 1m for 5 minutes and fogproof. Hydrophobic coatings on objectives and eyepieces. M46×0.75 filter thread for PL and nebula filters.
