The iOptron carbon fibre tripod is the ideal support solution for amateur astronomers seeking extreme lightness and superior rigidity without compromise. Weighing only 2.29 kg with a payload capacity of 50 kg, it is the perfect base for most mid-to-high-range iOptron mounts, as well as all star trackers and photo heads with a 3/8" thread.

The carbon fibre legs with diameters of 40 mm and 36 mm provide excellent structural stiffness and effective vibration damping – critical for long-exposure astrophotography.

Dimensions and Height Adjustment

The tripod adjusts from a minimum height of 535 mm to a maximum of 935 mm, with a 120 mm diameter top plate.
