The iOptron CEM26 is a center-balance equatorial mount weighing only 4.5 kg with a payload of 12 kg (2.6x ratio). The center-balance design positions the centre of mass closer to the rotation axes, improving tracking stability. The adjustable counterweight bar enables use down to latitude 0°.

Quick-Lock Mechanics and Adjustable Counterweight Bar

Worm gears Ø 88 mm, 144 teeth, zero backlash. Adjustable counterweight bar enables equatorial operation.

Astrophotography Performance

PE < ±10 arcsec with PPEC. Ideal for instruments up to 8 kg and focal lengths up to 1200 mm. Autoguiding via ASCOM or ST4.

Go2Nova® 8409 and Connectivity

Go2Nova® 8409 with 212,000 objects, PPEC, WiFi, USB, ST4, ASCOM, INDI. AccuAligning™ illuminated polar scope included.
