iOptron GEM28 – German Equatorial Mount 15 kg with iPolar and LiteRoc

The iOptron GEM28 is a German equatorial mount weighing only 4.5 kg with a payload of 15 kg (with LiteRoc 1.75" tripod included). The complete kit includes iPolar and LiteRoc 1.75" tripod — everything you need from the first night out. With PE < ±10 arcsec and PPEC, the GEM28 is ideal for astrophotography with telescopes up to 10-11 kg at focal lengths up to 1500 mm.

Precision Quick-Lock Mechanics

Worm gears Ø 88 mm, 144 teeth, zero backlash, Quick-Lock, latitude 10° – 60°.

Autoguiding and Astrophotography

Autoguiding via ASCOM or ST4. Integrated WiFi for remote control. Short unguided exposures possible thanks to PPEC.
