The Kowa BD II XD 8x32 binoculars are high-performance optics in a compact and rugged design. Ideal for birdwatching, nature observation and outdoor adventures, they offer exceptional clarity, wide field of view and premium build quality made in Japan.
XD Lenses with KR Coating
The XD lenses (Extra Low Dispersion) reduce chromatic aberration and enhance contrast and color fidelity. Unlike standard ED lenses, Kowa’s XD optics contain fluorite crystal, the best material for eliminating color fringing and maximizing sharpness. The Kowa Repelling (KR) coating protects the lenses from oil, water, and dirt, making them easy to clean.
Bright and Vivid Images with C3 Coating
The prisms feature C3 multi-coating, which enhances reflectivity across the entire visible spectrum (400–700 nm), delivering brighter and sharper images with vibrant colors – even in low light conditions.
Made in Japan – Premium Materials
All optical components are crafted in Japan with the highest standards. The body is made of a lightweight magnesium alloy, filled with nitrogen gas to prevent fogging and ensure full waterproofing.
