The Kowa TSN-501 is an angled, ultra-lightweight spotting scope with a built-in 20x–40x zoom eyepiece, designed for hikers, trekkers, and nature lovers. Weighing only 400 g and featuring a compact body, it fits easily into a backpack or even a jacket pocket—without sacrificing optical performance.
With a close focus of just 2.5 m, the TSN-501 allows stunning close-up views of leaves, insects, and fine natural details. The smooth zoom ring makes switching from 20x to 40x fast and effortless.

The body is made of durable polycarbonate, is nitrogen-filled, and fully IPX6 waterproof. The lenses feature Kowa Repelling™ (KR) coating, which protects against water, oil, and dirt—making cleaning quick and easy, even in the field.
Exceptional Optical Quality
Despite using standard (non-XD) optical glass, the TSN-501 delivers crisp, bright, high-contrast images with impressively low chromatic aberration. The clarity is outstanding for a scope with just a 50 mm objective lens.
