The Kowa TSN-502 is an ultra-lightweight, ultra-compact straight spotting scope designed for those seeking a portable instrument with excellent optical and mechanical qualities. Weighing only 400 g, it fits easily in a backpack or jacket pocket. The integrated 20–40X zoom eyepiece adjusts with a simple ring. The minimum focus distance of 2.5 m allows close-up observation of insects, flowers and fine details.
Construction and weather protection
The polycarbonate body is fully sealed and nitrogen-filled (IPX6). The proprietary Kowa Repelling KR coating is applied to both the objective and eyepiece, repelling water, grease and dirt for easy field cleaning.
Digiscoping and smartphone compatibility
The TSN-502 is compatible with smartphone digiscoping photography using the optional TSN-AR 500 adapter ring (not included). Check compatibility with your smartphone model before purchasing.
