The Kowa TSN-66S PROMINAR is Kowa's light and compact PROMINAR spotting scope: a 66mm pure fluorite crystal objective gives birdwatchers and nature lovers the detail and sharpness usually found only in larger, heavier scopes. Made in Japan, it is available in angled (A) and straight (S) versions.
Main features
- PROMINAR pure fluorite crystal objective: sharp, bright images free of chromatic aberration.
- Magnesium alloy body, sealed and nitrogen-filled: 100% waterproof and suitable for damp and dusty environments.
- Dual focus knobs with gear reduction: Quick Focus for fast initial focusing, Fine Focus for maximum precision, also useful for digiscoping.
- Kowa Repelling (KR) coating on the objective: repels dirt, dust and liquids and makes cleaning easier.
- Compatible with the Kowa System: interchangeable eyepieces, TSN-EX16 extender, digiscoping adapters for smartphones and cameras, astronomical eyepieces.
- Retractable lens hood with sighting aid, tripod mount with dual thread (1/4″ and 3/8″), 72mm filter thread.
