The Leica Calonox 2 View is the Leica thermal camera built for nature observation: it lets you spot wildlife both at night and in broad daylight, with sharp, high-contrast images thanks to the LYNRED sensor and Leica Image Optimization (LIO™) processing software. Made in Leica's factory in Portugal, it combines a compact shape, ergonomics and practical functions for extended observation.
LYNRED sensor and high-contrast images
The 640x480 pixel sensor with 12 µm pixel pitch guarantees sharp, detail-rich images. Thanks to the software-based shutter (shutterless), recalibration happens silently and instantly, without freezing the image while tracking a moving subject. The 0.49" OLED display offers great viewing comfort, with six individually adjustable colour modes and electronic filters to optimise the experience in any light condition.
Battery life and smart functions
Up to 10 hours of battery life, ready to use within seconds of switching on, with photo and video recording and Live View streaming to a smartphone via the Leica 2Hunt app (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®). IP67 certified, body in fiberglass-reinforced plastic with silicone outer finish.
