This adapter with external T2 (M42x0.75) thread lets you connect an SLR or mirrorless camera to your Schmidt-Cassegrain (or ACF) telescope, turning the optics into a powerful telephoto lens for shooting the Moon, planets and nebulae.
The T2 external thread is the reference standard for numerous astrophotography accessories: rings, projection adapters, off-axis guiders and more. The ring is extremely thin and doesn't add length to the optical tube, leaving more room for other accessories such as field flatteners or correctors.
