Vai al moduloThis optical polar scope is designed specifically for the MiniTrack LX2, LX2 NS, LX3 (Essentials and standard) and LX Quattro mounts, allowing much more precise alignment of the star tracker than the simple polar finder tube included with base versions.
Intuitive alignment, no scales or numbers
Instead of the traditional graduated scales with dates and numbers to consult, this polar scope's reticle directly shows the Ursa Major and Cassiopeia constellations: simply rotate the scope until the markings match the actual position of the two constellations in the sky to quickly find true celestial north. The reticle also includes Octans and the Southern Cross, making the scope usable from the southern hemisphere too.
Adjustable focus and multi-coated optics
A diopter adjustment knob allows the reticle to be focused to match your own eyesight, keeping both the reference marks and the pole star sharp at all times. The multi-layer coating on the lenses provides better contrast than the simple polar finder tube.
Lighter, with no date indicator
Unlike many polar scopes for traditional equatorial mounts, this model doesn't include a date indicator (needed to calculate orientation based on the day of the year): this choice makes it simpler to use, as well as lighter and more compact.
A dedicated bracket is needed for mounting
This polar scope must be paired with the corresponding MiniTrack bracket to be properly fitted to the mount.
