Vai al moduloThe MiniTrack LX4 Quattro NS SET is the version of the new Quattro star tracker supplied already with a ball head: a fully mechanical mechanism with no batteries, carrying cameras and telephoto lenses up to 4 kg in weight, with the option of conversion for the southern hemisphere (NS designation, North-South).
Needle bearing and one-piece body
The body is machined from a single block of CNC aluminium, with an integrated needle bearing that makes the tracking movement smoother and more precise than in previous versions. The spring system, stronger than the LX3's, reliably supports even unbalanced loads.
Ready to use with included ball head
Unlike the base MiniTrack LX Quattro NS (sold without accessories), this SET already includes a photographic ball head, ready to fit onto the mount's 3/8" connection: all you need to add is a photo tripod to start shooting.
Built-in GP mount, no extra dovetail needed
The body integrates a Vixen GP-style mount directly, so it can also be fitted to an equatorial head without needing a separate dovetail bar.
Ready for both hemispheres
The package also includes the optical polar scope, its mounting bracket and a dedicated insert for the southern hemisphere: switching between the two hemispheres is straightforward and requires no additional accessories.
Made in Portugal
The MiniTrack was invented by Italian amateur astronomer Cristian Fattinnanzi and technically developed by Omegon; this Quattro generation is fully assembled and tested in Portugal.
