This eyepiece employs lanthanum glass with a high refractive index and low dispersion, delivering high-resolution images with minimal aberrations. The computer-optimized optical design reduces blackout effects while enhancing contrast and definition.
All air-to-glass surfaces are treated with PENTAX SMC full multi-coatings, while laminated surfaces receive a special coating. This results in a light transmission efficiency of over 90%, with peak values of 96% at 550 nm in the visible spectrum.
