Vai al moduloThe Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi is an ultra-compact and lightweight GOTO Wi-Fi altazimuth mount designed for portable visual observing and astrophotography. Weighing just 1.3 kg (head only) with a 4 kg payload capacity, the AZ-GTi is controlled entirely via the SynScan app for iOS and Android, with no hand controller required. The package includes a steel tripod with accessory tray and half-column.
GOTO Wi-Fi Control via SynScan App
The AZ-GTi connects directly to a smartphone or tablet via integrated Wi-Fi. The free SynScan app (iOS and Android) provides all the functionality of a traditional GOTO hand controller, with a database of over 40,000 celestial objects (Deep Sky and Solar System), 1-, 2-, or 3-star alignment, and continuously updated sky maps and ephemerides.
Servo DC Motors with Dual Encoders on Both Axes
The Servo DC motors deliver a tracking accuracy of 0.625”, suitable for visual observations and planetary imaging. The integrated dual encoders on both axes allow manual slewing with loose clutches while always displaying the coordinates of the observed sky area — ideal for observers who prefer to explore the sky freely.
SNAP Port for Remote Camera Control
The SNAP port (optional cable required) enables remote camera triggering directly from a smartphone, making the AZ-GTi suitable for timelapse sequences and remote planetary imaging sessions.
Compact, Lightweight and Complete
At 14×9×14 cm and just 1.3 kg (head only), the AZ-GTi is among the most compact motorised GOTO mounts on the market. Power is supplied via an external 12V battery or power supply. Includes steel tripod with accessory tray and half-column for additional stability.
