Vai al moduloThe Sky-Watcher EQ3 is a manual German equatorial mount (GEM) with a payload capacity of 5.5 kg, ideal as a first equatorial mount. It features fine motion controls on both axes and is compatible with the majority of optical tubes thanks to the standard 45mm EQ5 dovetail. Complete with an adjustable aluminium tripod.
The EQ3 features fine motion knobs on both axes (RA and Dec), allowing precise manual pointing and corrections during observation without introducing vibrations.
The tube saddle accepts 45mm EQ5-type dovetail bars, a standard compatible with the vast majority of optical tubes produced for this format.
The EQ3 is ready for the installation of an optional polar scope, essential for accurate polar alignment in astrophotography, and for dual-axis motorisation (optional) or the SynScan computerisation kit (optional), which add automated tracking and computer control.
