Automatic tracking for the CQ40 mount
The Sky-Watcher Motor for CQ40 is the dedicated motorization kit for the CQ40 equatorial mount, designed to add single-axis automatic tracking without any structural modifications. The motor connects easily to the mount and allows precise tracking of celestial objects during visual observation and planetary or lunar photography, eliminating the need for constant manual corrections.
Autoguider port and battery-powered operation
The motor features an integrated autoguider port, enabling connection of a guide camera for assisted astrophotography sessions. Power is supplied by 2 × AA 1.5V alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring ease of use even in the field away from mains power.
